Dr. Aleem Mirza MBBS, MRCGP, DO MRO (UK) Specialist Family Medicine and Osteopath
Medical Director He is a British graduate GP and Osteopath. A true entrepreneur who set up his first independent private osteopathic clinic while studying  medicine  at the Royal free Hospital school of medicine in London. He worked in the RAF as a specialist in Rheumatology and Rehabilitation and subsequently was a partner in a GP partnership in Harrow. Having moved to the UAE he was appointed the Chief medical officer for Neuron LLC, a local TPA/Insurance company specialising in Medical claims.

 He identified a gap in the healthcare market and against huge competition set up the first Primary Care Clinic in Arabian ranches, Dubai. It was a great achievement and served a community without any medical facility at all.
Very much a patient-centred individual who has always tried to create systems to satisfy the customers and develop a true symbiotic team for his staff and patients.

His interest has always been to lead and be unique in primary healthcare services combining his clinical skills and management expertise.  He has had a specialist interest in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine having been the Club Doctor for a few League teams in Uk and UAE.

Dr. Dejan Jovanovic MD, MSc (SRB), SMASSpecialist Sports MedicineDr. Dejan Jovanovic, M.D., MSc, Sports Medicine Specialist (SRB), with extensive experience in practice of non-surgical Sports Medicine.

Dr. Mitra Nikkah MD,CCT IN GP(UK),DFFP (UK) General PractitionerDr. Mitra completed basic medical training from Medical University of Timisoara in Romania in 1995 with MD degree. she has also been registered with General Medical Council (GMC) in UK since 2001. In addition to her MD Degree Dr. Mitra completed post-graduate training in General Practice in Plymouth (UK) and have certificate of CCT in general Practice. She also holds diploma in Family Planning(DFFP), UK(2006).

Dr. Mitra practiced as General Practitioner in UK until end 2007 and ever since have been practicing in Dubai.

Dr. Delphine Dupuis MD, Postgrad Deg Women’s Health, Postgrad Deg Lactation and Breastfeeding Medicine (FRANCE) Specialist Family MedicineDr. Delphine Dupuis is an enthusiastic and caring French family doctor. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in pediatrics, women’ health and breastfeeding medicine.

After working in France, she moved to UK to join a busy family practice of the North of Manchester.

She received her medical degree from the University Louis Pasteur of Strasbourg - France in 2000 and continued with a postgraduate training in family medicine. She worked in various departments of Strasbourg University Teaching Hospitals including Accident and Emergency Department, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine and Gerontology. She next pursued with a year attached to the Pediatric Department of Strasbourg University Hospitals to conduct a clinical research. She presented her thesis dissertation and was awarded her degree with distinctions.

She also holds a postgraduate degree in Women’s Health and one in Lactation and Breastfeeding medicine.

Furthermore, she is a lactation specialist with a particular focus on medical practices that support breastfeeding mothers. In addition to caring clinically for families, she works to improve knowledge about and support for maternal-child health and breastfeeding in the medical profession and in the community. She is the head of education and p ublic awareness committee of Breastfeeding Friends, non-profit voluntary support group, under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah and lectures frequently for the WHO/UNICEF Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative in various hospitals of the UAE.

Dr Delphine is also certified by the French “Ordre National des Medecins” and remains till now a fully registered practitioner in the UK.

Dr. Beyla Zuberi MBBS, MD (USA) Specialist Internal Medicine Dr. Beyla Zuberi is an American Board Certified specialist of Internal Medicine who has over 15 years experience practicing as an Internist in the USA, Pakistan and the UAE.

Dr. Beyal Zuberi attained her MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan, after which she proceeded to the United States for her MD at the Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center (Michigan, USA). Subsequently, she completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from the same university Medical Centre.

Before moving to the UAE two years ago, Dr. Beyla was the Medical Director for the Long Term /Sub acute Rehabilitation Center in Louisvilla, Kentucky, USA in addition to working in two of the most reputable hospitals in the same city. To her credit, Dr. Beyla worked  on the Medicare Advisory Committee (USA, Federal level) for approving medications safe to use in an elderly population. She has extensive experience in the management of outpatient care as well as in acute care settings. Since moving to the UAE, she has worked as a specialist in internal medicine. Additionally, her work has included training and educating medical students, residents and nurses and becoming certified in tobacco cessation treatment and counseling.

Dr. Beyla Zuberi currently holds membership with American College of Physicians and the American Medical Director Association. She maintains licensure for medical practice in the state of Kentucky, USA, and with the Ministry of Health and Dubai Health Department in the UAE. She is also certified with American college of Geriatric Medicine, is a fellow of the American Board of Ethical Physicians and is a fellow of the American College of specialists in Geriatrics.

Dr. Fatma Al Marashi MD FACE American Board Internal Med.
Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism Dr. Al Marashi currently serves as the Medical Director at University Hospital, part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center in Dubai Healthcare City, where she is developing strategy for the Medical and Physicians Affairs Department. She has been featured in many national TV programs for Diabetes and other Endocrinological Problems. She is a contributing writer for the Healthcare Middle-East Journal providing physician and patient education material on the topic of Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Dr. Fatma Al Marashi is the first UAE physician to earn American double board certification.  She is American Board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.  Dr. Al Marashi earned her medical degree from Shiraz Medical School. She focused on Internal Medicine as her first specialty as a resident at St. Vincent Hospital, a University of Massachusetts affiliate, in Worcester, MA,U.S.A.  She furthered her specialization by completing a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX, U.S.A.She received her training from MD- Anderson and Herman Hospital, Houston, USA. Dr AlMarashi has active Medical licenses in Massachusetts, Texas and California besides having a CPQ license and DOHMS License.

After coming back to UAE in 1998, Dr. Al Marashi has consulted at multiple healthcare facilities in the U.A.E. including Welcare, Al Baraha, Al Kuwaiti, Neurospinal and American Hospitals.  She founded the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Al Baraha Hospital and served as the Chair for five years.  In her dedicated efforts to improve the healthcare status in the U.A.E., Dr. Al Marashi acted as a U.A.E. representative in the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Diabetes Control Committee in striving to control the rising number of diabetes cases in the area.  In 1999, she founded and served as Chairperson of the U.A.E. National Diabetes Control committee in the Ministry of Health and was also member of the Drug Formulary Committee in Ministry of Health from 2001-2003. Afterwards she moved on to fill the position as Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Welcare Hospital before joining Dubai Healthcare City.

Dr Al Marashi is a member of several International and National Scientific Associations. She is member of abstract sub- committee and, Media and Public Relation Sub Committee for American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist (AACE), USA. She is also a board member of Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and chair person of EMA Scientific committee.

Dr. Tazyeen Faisal MBBS, MRCOG (UK) Obstetrician / Gynaecologist Dr Tazyeen has had more than twenty five years of experience in her field having worked in Pakistan, U.A.E. (MOH) and U.K. Having been trained at the Queen’s Medical Centre, University Hospital, Nottingham (U.K.) and City Hospital, Nottingham (U.K.) under some of the well-known and established names in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has acquired high skill, expertise and competence in dealing with a wide range of Obstetrical and Gynecological problems. Her training in U.K. equipped her with some latest surgical techniques and newly introduced management of gynecological problems.

She has vast experience in dealing with ante natal care of normal and high risk pregnancies, menstrual problems, postmenopausal problems, infertility, and latest management of recurrent miscarriages. She has special interest in Day surgery procedures like hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy, LLETZ to treat precancerous changes of the cervix. She carries out above procedures, normal vaginal deliveries, instrumental deliveries and Caesarean section at both American Hospital and Medcare Hospital.

Dr. Hafsa A Yusuf MbChB, FRCS Otolaryngology (Edinburgh) Ear, Nose & Throat, Surgical Specialist (ENT) Dr. Hafsa graduated from Glasgow University Medical School in 1994 and gained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Edinburgh in 2000.

Over the years Dr. Hafsa has acquired vast knowledge in the field of ENT across the UK, Australia & UAE.

Besides the management of general ENT cases, Dr. Hafsa has a special interest in Head & Neck cases & snoring surgery

Dr. Hafsa has also contributed to, and wrote various scientific publications, published in several Medical Journals & presented at International Conferences.

Although Dr. Hafsa is a UK citizen and English is her first language, she speaks fluent Arabic & Farsi.
